The Angoon Shu� Senior Center offers the following services:

  • Home-delivered meals for seniors recovering from illness or surgery

Senior Center
The Senior Center offers the following services to seniors age 60 and over:

  • Home-delivered meals for seniors unable to attend congregate meals at the senior center
  • Health maintenance activities at the senior center
  • Social and cultural activities at the senior center
  • Door-to-door transportation for individuals over 60 years of age
  • Shopping assistance and other errands
  • Senior Information/Caregiver Resource Center

We are open for service Monday through Thursday 8:30a.m. - 2p.m.
Lunch is served at 12 noon.

We are located at the Haines Senior Center at 33 Mission Street.

Hydaburg​
Door-to-door transportation service for Hydaburg elders, age 60 and over, is available to Craig and Klawock on Thursdays. Vehicle departs Hydaburg at 9:30 am and returns to Hydaburg at  3:00 pm.

Juneau/Douglas ​

We offer the following services and programs in the Juneau area:

Senior Information/Caregiver Resource Center: Monday - Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Care Coordination: Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Counseling: Upon request

Downtown Senior Center: Monday - Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.

Douglas Senior Center: Tuesday and Thursday, 11:00 a.m. - 1 p.m.

Meals on Wheels: Lunch delivered to homes five days per week

Care-A-Van Transportation: Monday - Saturday, 7 a.m. - 11:30 p.m.; Sunday, 9 a.m. - 6 p.m.

Bridge Program: Monday - Friday 7:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Ketchikan​
Senior Center

The Ketchikan Senior Center helps elders stay healthy, safe, and independent through offering the following services:

  • Shopping assistance and other errands
  • Health maintenance activities
  • Social and cultural activities  

We are open for service Monday through Friday, 8a.m. - 4:30p.m.
Lunch is served at 12noon.

Our senior center services are designed to help persons 60 years of age and older. Persons under the age of 60 with disabilities may also qualify to receive personalized door-to-door transportation services by obtaining an A.D.A. card from the Borough Clerk�s office.

We are located at the Senior Services Building, 1016 Water Street.

Hours of Transportation Service:
The Ketchikan Senior Center  provides senior transportation and complementary paratransit transportation service through a contract with the Ketchikan Gateway Borough. For seniors and people of all ages , with disabilities, who qualify for ADA paratransit service, the hours of transportation are:

Monday through Friday, 5:15 a.m. to 9:45 p.m. 
Saturday, 6:45 a.m. to 9:45 p.m. 
Sunday, 8:45 a.m. to 3:45 p.m.

Call (907) 225-6578 to reserve a ride.

The reservations office is open Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Saturdays, Sundays & holidays 11:00 a.m.-12:00 noon.

It is recommended you call at least one day (24 hours) before you will need the ride.
